#1012 Your Limitations

Idea: Stop Arguing for Them

In our last +11 (that got long didn’t it?!), we talked about my love of the word forge and I invited you to join our Optimize Soul Force Forge.

Today’s +1 is going to be quick.

I want to talk about your (perceived) limitations.

Ever heard of Richard Bach’s epic line on the subject?

He tells us: “Argue for your limitations, and sure enough they’re yours.

Let’s think about that for a moment longer.

Argue for your limitations, and sure enough they’re yours.

That’s Today’s +1.

Quick check in.

Are YOU arguing for any of YOUR limitations?

Perhaps you have a story that you simply can’t Optimize your body. Or your mind. Or your relationships. Or your work. Or…

If you feel so inspired, let’s step back for another moment and get clear on what our Optimus-best selves look like.

If you could wave a wand and become the best version of yourself Energy + Work + Love wise, what would you see? How would you feel? How would you show up in your life?

(Seriously. Wave the wand. See your BEST self: Energy. Work. Love. ← What do you see?)

Now…

Obviously, waving a wand isn’t enough to do the trick in and of itself. We need to rub that vision up against the constraints of reality and do the HARD WORK to FORGE our Soul Force.

But…

If we never allow ourselves to dream and to BELIEVE we can actually step up and into the best versions of ourselves with the proper amount of hard work (note: the bigger the challenge the more work required!), we may find ourselves unknowingly arguing for our limitations and…

Remember: “Argue for your limitations, and sure enough they’re yours.

I say we argue for our potential.

And then go do the forging to make it a reality.

TODAY.

P.S. One more time: Optimize Mastery Series and Optimize Coach 2020 kicks off in a month. LET’S DO THIS!!! 🙂
