How Would You Recommend We Train for the Spartan Race in December?

The Spartan is a fun opportunity to embrace the power of obstacles making us stronger. OMMS!

Training-wise, there are three areas to focus on:

1. Grip strength, both as an absolute and relative to weight.
2. Off-terrain hiking and aerobic conditioning.
3. Specific Spartan skills.

For each skill, consider both getting very specific and focusing on incremental improvements.

Want to learn how to climb a rope? Research how to do it. Find a gym with a rope and practice climbing.

And also, burpees. 😄
